ManLorFilm was founded by Manuel Faticoni and Lorenzo Mariotti in 2020, bringing together the experiences in the visual and graphic arts, editing and writing in a project driven by a passion for cinema.

Manuel Faticoni was born in May 1979 in Rome. After instruction in scientific filelds his career is divided between car race security and graphic arts. Has collaboration in various areas concerning graphics, editing and visual projects.

Lorenzo Mariotti was born in February 1980 in Rome. PhD in biology, he works in the healthcare. He worked in theatre company as an assistant in technical roles, script writing and directing. His passion for writing has always been cultivated over the years.

They began together to study the art of cinema by studying texts and attending courses of experts in the field of cinema. They spent time watching and analyzing films by different authors from all over the world. Finally, this led them to give birth to the ManLor film, a zero budget production company that has as its sole intent to be able to tell stories through the screen.

The first projects (“Nettie” and “Dark Depths”) are receiving good awards, official selections and honorable mentions in several festivals in Italy and abroad.
